The Official Discusser is expected to review the report of the specific committee and to prepare an official discussion on the report including his own views based on his experience and knowledge in the respective field.

Includes Standing Committee members, Correspondents, Technical Committees’ members, and Special Committees’members.

Observers are individuals who are qualified by reason of professional responsibility or published work and able to contribute usefully to the discussions at the Congress. Observers are selected and proposed to the Chairman by country representatives (i.e. SC members and correspondents). Observers may participate in all technical and social activities at the Congress.

Committee member and observers can invite up to two accompanying persons to participate in social events and culture tours during the Congress. See below for details on events and tours included in the Accompanying Persons program.
